Gem Hotel

You would swear that this is an original old country pub. However, there's not much left of the original pub after it burnt down many years ago. Luckily they have managed though to retain that old-world-charm and it's a lovely place with a fairly large veranda. The food, although a bit expensive for such an out-of-the-way pub, was delicous and plentiful and our seniors card entitled us to quite reasonably priced menu. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly which made our visit a most enjoyable occasion on that Saturday lunch time. Well worth a stop if you're exploring this important, historical region.
