Gym was okay, staff are LOVELY... BUT in terms of cost it terrible. Recently joined another for less than half what I paid at Genesis. When I cancelled my membership, they abused my final remaining Direct Debit payments by making me pay $45 extra because they "couldn't access my account" and had "payments refunded to them" but I saw no proof of this and had not changed my bank account details at all. Just a spiteful way to get back at people for leaving. It way too messy. Do not recommend.

Joined Genesis Ringwood a couple of weeks ago, really glad I did. Staff are very helpful and facilities are great!

Pretty poor maintenance. Roof leaks. Mould in certain places in the roof.

The wet areas are disgusting. Check these out before you join.

Staff rude.

I have been a member here for about a year now, and overall, I would say that it is a 'good' gym. Staff are friendly, there is a good variety of classes, and there are usually enough cardio machines to go around during peak times. They also have a 'circuit' of easy to use weight machines, which is good for the ladies.

Unfortunately a lot of the cardio machines are run down, with broken buttons etc, and there is always a few that will be 'out of order' and they seem to stay that way for a while. The stretch mats also seem very old and worn-out. The place could definately do with an ...read more
