Food was okay but we waited 48 minutes for food they failed to tell us the wait time we went up twice and asked when it will be ready and they were quite rude , once we got our food we didnt have enough time to eat it all I said could we get a container the girl said it costs 50 cents I said do we have to pay that since we waited nearly an hour , she said it doesn't matter how long you wait , I said that's poor customer service , I said not only did you fail to tell us the wait time but you can't even give us a bag on the house to take our food away that should have been the least they could of done to try and say sorry , we walked out and left our food there won't be coming back , it's unfair how they treated us , if I was the manager I would be furious how they handled that situation , anyways other than the food and staff the place looked good but unfortunately rude staff ruined it for us

I had lunch on Wednesday after a break of 10 years and was pleasantly surprised at the improvement, the atmosphere was pleasant and the food was great, nicest garlic bread. Recommend

Its a great pub. Great food. Great beer and Great Atmosphere. Although when I first moved to the Hunter the staff were quite rude to me. A lot of trouble seems to occur here and that's a big downer and staff don't stand upto them half the time. Although great food, grog and atmosphere this brings it down.
