Globe Hotel

Don't waste your time with this pub! Went there a while ago now but as I'm now back in town, I remembered the day I was there earlier in the year. Signs say "meals all day, everyday". Not true at all. Chefs aren't seen between 2:30pm and 5:30pm. Beer taste good however it's probably the other thing you can order there. There were hardly any bottles of liquor on the shelf and with about 3 customers in the place, I don't think it was because it gets busy!

When I finally ordered my parma, it was just crumbed chicken without the actual chicken meat. Probably half a centimetre in width. Completely unacceptable and I will never come back to this pub. The pub meals were well presented satisfying and economical. Staff were efficient polite and clean.A good experience.

Agressive looking barstaff not very well dressed and was quite rude, we arrived for a meal 7ppl in total we ordered about 6.15 and after having to ask for our desserts we left over 2 hours later.. waitstaff did the best they could... 1+ side the dressing on the salad was amazing but when my mum asked what dressing it was the waitstaff was rudly responded with why and not really told the answer..... I for a fact will never ever return to this place.

Got a Parma/pot. Service was timely, staff were polite, meal was great.

Service at The Globe is fine - TAB pays out regularly - elbow room only near the TAB EBT but it's open slather at the bar EBT. Beer taps were found to be in working order - bike was safe when left unlocked out the back.
