I've just come home from a 4 night stay in a cabin at the caravan park and it was wonderful, the owners are lovely people, can't do enough to help, if there's a problem they fix it in a jiffy, not that I've had anything much go wrong, the cabins are always lovely and clean and are warm and comfortable, and everything is provided, I love the park, it was my 5th year staying there and I'm going back next year, I would highly recommend them to anyone who wants a reasonably priced, clean and friendly place to stay in Bendigo.
Stayed here a few times in our caravan with no dramas but this time we stayed in a cabin. We found cabin dirty, glassware dirty, taps constantly dripping, water leak on bathroom floor, poor tv signal, out of date milk in fridge and wifi signal weak. Expected better bang for my buck.
I think all guests should be made well aware. We have just visited the park whilst attending a basketball tournament. Like previous guests we were also sent an invoice. When we arrived we were told that we owed an additional $130.00 for three nights accommodation. When we showed the staff at the office we were also told that there prices had gone up and if we didn't like it we could find somewhere else to stay. The park knew the shortage of accommodation in Bendigo due to sporting events and school holidays, they knew we had no where else to go. Not only was their fact disgusting on its own the cabin that we occupied was dirty, old and less than sub standard. The whole park were talking about the way the management treated the park guests especially the children. They spent the whole day roaring at every child in the park. Disgusting behaviour, disgusting dirty park with old dated dirty accommodation. Beware as this would have to be the worst ...read more
2 issues we had staying at this resort over the melbourne cup weekend. Major issue was when we checked in after paying 1 nights deposit in full and was sent a detailed invoice for the outstanding amount for the other 3 nights booked. I was told by staff that I owed over $100 more than what the invoice said. They informed me that their prices had gone up since my booking. Then they showed me tiny fine print on the email they sent saying "prices may increase without notice". After refusing to pay following their little price increase they told me to find other accomodation in Bendigo if I wanted to. I had no choice, being the long weekend most accomodation was booked out, and my family was already staying in the park. This episode left a sour taste for the remainder of our stay, no warning of the increase in price, it was pay or leave. ...read more
Stayed three nights, planned to have a peaceful relaxing break, dissappointed due to a large group of international frizbee players who partied loudly each night. Although policy is for no load parties this did not seem to matter to management allowing noise disturbance at an unacceptable level. No issues with youth enjoying themselves, but regard for fellow campers by the group & more importantly managment would have been appreciated. :(
