Golden Fleece Hotel

I decided to have my 42nd birthday at the Golden Fleece Hotel.



I have heard negative feedback on the meals and customer service, I called up a spoke to a lovely lady on the phone and told her about my concerns and the end result was me booking in for a table of 20 people. I booked 20 mintues before arriving and the table was set up and the staffs level of customer service was really good and the place looks amazing.



The food came out within 45 mintues and that was including having entrees. Everyone was very pleased and enjoyed their night out! We even ordered coffee's with our cake!



I will be returning!

My husband and i went there last night. We ordered our meals and after 50 minutes, still no food served, we were very disappointed,we asked for a refund and left. Staff was rude. I will never go there again!

We had my family and friends go there last night. After paying top dollar ordering the fish dishes, the poor quality of food served was an embarrasement to the industry. It was still swimming in oil, falling apart and the quality/freshness of the product was very questionable. After advising the waitress that we couldn't physically complete our meals as they were so poor (and we waited 1 hour to receive our order!! It wasn't very busy either!!) we barely received acknowledement of the complaint. No thought was even given to offer a refund. I will be attempting today to request resolution as such today. This is the second time we have eaten there and the second time we were equally disapointed.

The first time i ate at this place with my husband I was really happy with the service and the meals. But as we went more often, the meals became worse. I ordered the same meal everytime, and everytime it was different. I noticed there were different waiters/waitresses often as well as chefs. This was off putting. Last week on friday we went there, which was a last time as I was extremely unsatisfied with the service as well as the food. It took over 35mins to get our entrees & then when our mains arrived, mine came under cooked! I sent it back, and it came the same way!! We will never go back again!

Have eaten here many of times, I know shame on me, never mattered what I tried it was just terrible. I usually try places multiple times because sometimes its just a bad day or different circumstances etc, but after so many times of going and trying different food it always was shocking! The staff were untrained, each food had something bad about it, like tough meat or hair in it.
