Golden Lake Chinese Restaurant

We have been eating at this restaurant since it opened, we have never had to complain about the meals. The Satay Prawns are the best that the wife has ever had, compaired to City Restaurants, We now live in the Southern Highlands and travel their regually. Great service Friendly Staff. Lacking competititin in the area, the quality of food is sub par. Spring rolls were nice but the sweet and sour pork was not properly rested. Because of the short resting time, the pieces were extremely crunchy with no sauce penetration and high salt content.
Not worth the money as prices should be cheaper in keeping with proper asian restaurants in parramatta or other parta of Sydney. Perhaps a visit to such restaurants to be exposed to chinese cuisine will help.
Prices should be under the 10 dollar mark and if the quality of food is nade better, would be willing to give it another try.

I have been eating here for over 12 years and the place has never let me down, has very little atmosphere but this is made up for by the great quality food and excellent prices.

Have been going here regularly for over 12 years, never had a problem, they do good quality Chinese at an affordable price, they are also BYO which is a bonus.
