Golden Lotus- Vegetarian Eatery

I found it a struggle to find the perfect vegan dinner spot that me and my vegan friend would both like. I'm so glad she suggested this place because the food was so fresh and flavoursome that I forgot it was vegan altogether. I hands down recommend their laksa which was so light, not overly heavy and oily as you would assume with all the spices and coconut milk. It's probably the best laksa I've had for a long while and we paired this with the eggplant and tofu hotspot. The eggplant just fell apart and melted in the mouth. We left very satisfied and good about it given our student budgets! Great meal and atmosphere.

Legit, the vegan Pho here is ridonk. got more flava flava flav than Public Enemy, it's so good.

they also do these vegan wrap things that are like... vegan peking duck wraps. love them like family.

it's also MEGA affordable, MEGA close to Newie Station, has a BUNCH of bars close-by for... desert and also has pretty good service!!

For Valentine’s day, my girlfriend and I decided to try a place we’ve been meaning to go to for a while: a vegan restaurant in Newtown called Golden Lotus. Opened in July 2015, Golden Lotus aims to blend together healthy food and fresh ingredients with a great atmosphere and friendly service. The restaurant itself is quite small with very limited seating. We were happy we made a booking beforehand as we got seating immediately but others we left out in the cold.

OMGOSH! Best vegan options! The Yellow Noodle Soup with the vegan chicken is to die for!! So tasty and yummy! The entree's were quite tasty and seemed to be cooked and made in the restaurant.
