Gourmet Box

Best place around by far, always go to Gourmet Box sometimes for coffee but most of the time for a freshly cooked meal. Go see a difference in service and cleanliness.

Extremely dissapointed - returned to the Gourmet Box after a few months away and was seriously dissapointed by the general lack of service and attitude of the staff. Afraid it is going to be along time before I return again. Can only assume there has been a recent change of ownership.

Went here this morning to buy a pie. Walking out I took a few bites to find out my pie was cold. Waited back in line to ask for a hot one only to be told excuses and its not their fault but they could heat my pie up in the microwave if I wasn't happy. Look, the pie wasn't bad (after a nuke in the mw) but you don't go to a shop to pay almost $5 for it to be heated in the microwave. The lack of service leaves a bad taste in your mouth long after the pie has been finished. This experience is so typical of the attitude in the Perth food and hospitality industry. Overpriced food with no service.

I go out of my way to go there as they have the best salads around, not much of a cous cous fan but the potato salad is spot on and they must be doing it right as most days they have sold out of the good salads. Always one in a crowd?

The salads are way over priced. Last time i went there my potato salad was fizzy and this time a medium cous cous salad cost me $9.20 and being one of many times I have left the store feeling cheated enough is enough. The service matches the food. I shall be boycotting this store and advise others to do the same.
