I can tell Jessica exactly what its like to have a kitchen installed my Great Indoor Designs, a very bad decision on our behalf. We were renovating a unit to put on the market, we wanted a quick turn around time. We engaged Great Indoor Designs to do the kitchen. After the kitchen was half installed the installer found that there had been a monumental error made with the measurements and the remaining cupboards couldn’t be installed and in fact had to be totally remade. We were told that we would have to wait a further 17 business days before the cabinets could be delivered and the installation could be finalised. All this delay only to find that one of the new cupboard doors were damaged and wasn’t usable. The response from Great Indoor Designs was that we’d once again have to wait another 17 business days to have the door replaced. We are now two months after the kitchen started to be installed and we are no closer to getting the kitchen finalised nor the unit ...read more
Hi Wendy, I understand your frustration with the delays but also disappointed with your comments as this is the fourth kitchen we have done for you. Unfortunately with some finishes, they take longer to produce than others which is out of our direct control. From the outside it may look as though there has been no sense of urgency placed on your job but you don’t get to see nor hear what goes on to get portray this information down the line. We attempted to deliver the 1 remaining door yesterday but no one was available and I am still waiting to find out when it can be delivered and the installer is ready to fit once on site. We have endeavoured to provide what you wanted from the information you provided in as prompt a manner as humanly possible. We wish you all the best in the future.
