Green Street Grocer

I popped in for an early lunch at 11.30am for my favorite vege toasted sandwich. They pre make them all and still hadn't made the vege so I was offered other selections or if I didn't mind waiting for it to be made. I decided to wait thinking it would be made alone and off I would go. However they continued making all the sandwiches she was in the progress of and then made all of the vege batch, say about ten sandwiches in order to give me my one sandwich. Maybe it was a breakdown in communication however it was a long wait and I thought one sandwich being made for a waiting customer would take precedence over all sandwiches being made first.

They have a great little takeaway stand on the outside of the grocer using all the lovely fresh ingredients in store. The roasted vege toasted is delicious.
