Grill'd

These burgers are big and pretty tasty, but I'm not sure what all the hype is about -- I had heard these were voted best burgers in Australia, and I didn't think they were all that special. I got the chips here and they were covered with overwhelming spice/rosemary blend that I could still taste in my mouth hours later! The service here is quick and friendly.

Grill'd Southern Cross is definitely in a good prime location. Busy traffic coming and going from everyday workers and travellers waiting for a VLine train or coach bus service. Always a line at lunch tie whether its for take away or to dine in. Occasionally there isn't a seat available that you need to wait for one but generally it isn't a long wait as the service surprisingly is quick and people tend to leave as soon as they finish their meals. I enjoy the friendly staff here as they always have a genuine happy welcoming greet and they are quick with taking the order and always remembering to ask if we want chips and sauce to go with the burgers. I love the Moroccan lamb with the greek or cucumber sauce. I usually go for the white bread but for an extra $1.50 you can get the low carbs bread which is quite thin but wont fill you up.
