Groupe Seb

I rang the warranty number in Sydney for my broken vacuum cleaner, a Rowenta Airforce. The battery runs out after 5 minutes and the carpet brush no longer works. Fortunately it is covered by 2 years on site warranty replacement, as stated on the warranty slip.
Instead of the good experience I was expecting based on the European reputation of the Rowenta brand, I was treated rudely by the call centre operator and they refused to honor the warranty.
I'm going back to Harvey Norman and will have them sort it out, but for sure will not be buying any brand under the Groupe Seb umbrella again.
