GT's Hotel Surry Hills

This pub is located in a part of Surry Hills where I believe that there are five pubs on the corner (including this one) and another six within a couple of minutes walk, which means that there is a huge amount of competition in the area. I've been here a couple of times and I have to say that I don't mind this place at all. Okay, it isn't hugely fantastic, but it is nice and quiet (or at least when I've been here) and a good place to spend a quiet night with some friends. The staff were pretty good, though that is only going on a couple of visits, and they have a smokers balcony out the front (which does close fairly early). I do like this place, however as I've suggested, it does have some pretty stiff competition.
