Truthfully found park a disgusting,unsafe mess when arrived.Donga bathroom facs overrun with bird/ rat/ lizard/ cockroach faeces everywhere,as if not cleaned for years.Grounds covered in rotting mango fruit,tree debris making walking unsafe.Hope its improved since-- UNSAFE
Caravan park has very basic facilites and is in the process of being slowley renovated with vans being replaced for cabins. The park has a water treatment plant and the water is of drinking quality. The owner is warm and friendly and is more than willing to point you in the right direction and iain is allways around to have a rum and a yarn with you. Gumlu has great fishing and the park is ideal for fisherman and Camping with a very relaxed layed back feel. The shop has hot food, groceries, ice, bait, and more importantly has cold and reasonaly priced take away Alcohol and a nice beer garden. They are more than willing to accomadate clubs and groups and is in the process of starting regular fishing comps and challanges.
