We are a fun and bright kids hair salon. We are set up like a kids place center. With two big play area's and waiting room. Novelty cars to sit on while watching the latest DVDs and Movies. Or for you teenagers play the latest playstation 3 games whilst having your haircut. Our staff are experienced and patient to cut all kids hair type. Even the most difficult of children. We also do 1st hsircuts and you will receive a 1st hsircut certificate to remember the occasion.

I took my twins in today to hair 4kids airport west to have there hair fixed up from the mess that was done in watsonia. Absolutely fantastic job by the owner Anna. She was so great and patient with them and very warm and friendly. They now look great with a new trendy hair style. Love it , love it , love it. Will recommend you to all my friends and definitely be back. All the way from mill park.
We arrived a few minutes before we were due - what a din (who knew boys made so much fuss)! The entrance was not easy to navigate a hesitant toddler and and a stroller through the angled door way, something to address?
The chairs and rocking horse are great albeit old and faded and in urgent need of a bottle of disinfectant.
$18 is an extremely over the top figure for a dry cut carried out on a little girl who sat perfectly still and followed all instruction. How about a discount for perfect behavior? At this price and standard of the salon, I doubt we will return.
Wow...my son is DIFFICULT for having his hair cut, and my other son loves it, I get charged $18 each too. Should I tell them to charge me more because of his bad behaviour? Seriously?
I guarantee I'll always return.....and I have for a long time. I don't know how those wonderful ladies do it....
Went to salon based on a friends recommendation. Not sure if it just the hairdresser on the day that was not up to scratch, but the whole experience was terrible. Hairdresser was running 20 mins late which was not a problem as salon is furnished more like a play centre. When it was my sons turn, I clearly, in detail explained to hairdresser how my son wanted his hair. It wasn't very hard, he wears it short with a longish type front that he wears to side. It a very common style that boys are wearing now. The hairdresser ended up cutting his front so short he had a bowl haircut. We left salon and had to go back in as the hairdresser shaved the back uneven. My son was in tears when we got to the car. Poor kid now has to wear this hair to his 5th birthday on Sunday. Terrible is how I would describe the cut, 5 minutes and all the boys end up looking the same with a spike and some gel they were using in the 80s. If you care what your kids look like when they get a haircut don't go here.
Sorry to hear you had a less than fantastic experience at our salon. It's very unusual to hear feedback like this about our hairdressers. The management would have liked to have heard from you at the time of your visit. We work with experienced and friendly hairdressers that are very capable of modern and trendy hairstyles which we cut to parents requests. My son (2) hates getting his hair done. I loved that the salon was so exciting for the kids. The service was good and no one battered an eyelid when he cried the whole time. They cut quickly and neatly and the kids stayed after to play. Am rapt to have found a good kids salon that is friendly, reasonably priced and understands children. Will DEF be going back!
I'm loving the new salon in Airport West...Well done to the team of ladies at Hair 4 Kids. They've also got a Facebook page now...Hair 4 Kids-Airport West, check it out. My problem now is my boys hate it even more now when it's time for us to leave.....All the best :-)))
