This pertains to the beauty supply shop. I ran from work at 5:00 in order to make it to the store before it closed at 5:30pm. I passed by Shaver Shop, Oxfam Shop, Specsavers, etc, all open with customers inside. I arrived to find Hairhouse Warehouse with its shutters drawn. I walked round the corner to see two staff people standing at the register, talking. I asked them through the shutter what time they close. Now, they said. At 5:30? I asked. Yes, they said. I then showed them my phone that said 5:25, then pointed to the open neighboring stores. They appeared annoyed and said, We're already closed. No 'We closed early because we have an appointment to get to', or 'I am feeling ill.' I slowly walked back, noting that all the other stores were still open. I went into Shaver Shop and Big W, and was able to get the things I needed, with excellent customer service.
