I would like to thank A.J. the Sales Representative, for her very professional,personable & up front service, she was a pleasure to deal with. The Sales staff gave us updates when the shutters were ordered and when they arrived in country. The installer Matt was also very professional and Really pleasant,helpful and tidy. The price was the best and the quality of the shutters is A1. I would definitely recommend this company to my friends and relatives

If I could give lower than 1/2 a star I would.
As with what seems a common theme - very accomodating when they are quoting the job. Took my 50% deposit which I had no problem with. Waited a few weeks with now follow up and then recieved a call out of the blue from one of the installers asking to come round and do a final measure up. He was very polite and advised my wife that it would not take too long now and to expect a call soon to arrange a date to get the security grille fitted.
We have waited and waited and waited and I finally lost my patience today and rang the Seven Hills branch. Asked to speak to the manager and after being put on hold for a short time - a lady came to the phone. When I contacted Half Price Shutters for a quote, they were extremely accommodating but after I placed an order I experienced the most appalling after sales service . It took 5 months from original quote to have my shutters fully installed. Six weeks after original quote shutters arrived and one window's measurements were reversed so the shutter had width and length around the wrong way. I was told it would take 12 weeks to reorder!!!!! There was also an issue with one of the installed shutters.I had huge difficulty getting any response to this issue, phone number for installation issues reverted to an answering machine every time rung, but of course the obtain a quote option was answered immediately. When I did get through they couldn't organise to come and see it at a time that suited me and then never rang back to organise another time. I cant believe the reviews I'm reading, but can see they were some time ago.

I am the most demanding customer you can get. I'm a perfectionist and will never settle for second best. The team at half price shutters were fantastic. From organising the initial call out for a quote, to the measurements of my plantation shutters and blinds, to the instillation of my items - I couldn't be happier.
I had both my blinds and plantation shutters completely installed within 7 weeks and the final product is fantastic.

I'm so impressed with my shutters and blinds that I have referred my friends and family and they too now enjoy the quality of Half Price Shutters. Judge them for yourself!!

Disgraceful service incompetent installers and electricians I will be taking this company to fair trading. I would not recommend this company to ANYONE. We had electric shutters installed about 2 weeks ago in canberra was the first night of rain last night. And it was a nice surprise when my husband and I wake up wet. Look up our whole bedroom roof is soaking wet, carpet ruined, sheet and bed ruined our brand new painted roof and walls ruined. Get my father in law to get up on the roof in the rain and we find half price shutters employed electrician has not put our tiles back on our roof. Leaving a big hole in our roof. As you can see in the attached pictures, you can also see the shutter wires exposed to the weather too. This poor effort of an installation must of been due to the he fact that the installer and the electrician had 5 other jobs on that day and as the electrician explained to me they were in a rush!!! Don't worry I will be contacting fair trading
