Harbord Beach Hotel

It was a little difficult for me to get to this pub, but I eventually made it. Basically it is out in the suburbs, or at least where Manly is concerned, meaning that it is probably better for people who live in the area than those like me that tend to travel here and there. Still, it was a nice pub, with a pretty decent beer garden as well, and some good beers on tap. I didn’t mind it at all.

Great pub and food, however service can be a bit slow at times. Food quality is top notch, decent serving size but can be a bit pricey as expected.

This is the best place to come for two up on ANZAC day, either inside or out. It's always friendly and packed so get in early! It's also the best place to come any day of the week for a beer, local vibe and great food from the restaurant.

Thank goodness that you can still find a pub in Sydney. The Harbord Hilton to locals has managed to retain that great Aussie pub feel and not succumbed to the white walls and chrome polish that have taken over, though still well presented and modern. There is a lively mix of diversified drinkers with no pretentious high-hair guys. The beer garden is great, though now full of smokers it is still great for afternoon sessions. The food is good, big portions but a little on the pricey side for pub grub.
