Harlow School of Dance

My daughter has been attending Harlow school of dance for more than 6 years, she was 3 when she started and now this dance school is her second home. She loves this place so much that she was able to influence her older brother to take hip hop, acro, and break dancing. Both my children love this school and I would recommend to children of all ages. The teachers nurture the children and treat them like their own. The principals realised that I could not drop off my kids after school due to work commitments and seeing the love of dancing in my daughter, arranged to pick her up from school just so she does not miss out on learning. This school does not teach for the sake of teaching, but teaches dancing because the teachers are passionate about dancing. They provide a safe haven for my children and are most professional in their approach. I am so grateful to this school as they encourage my children to be who they want to be and help them to realise their potential.

I have three daughters doing a range of dance classes at Harlow. Very happy with the experience of the teachers, the performance of the girls and the encouragement of their love of dancing. We swapped from a previous school because the times did not suit and my eldest daughter has gone from strength to strength. My youngest started in Tiny Tots and constantly asks, "Is it ballet day today?". The teachers are, in the main approachable and willing to discuss progress, the other parents are easy to interact with and the students are, on the whole, polite, well behaved and well presented. I would definitely recommend.

My daughters love dancing at Harlow. Both have been learning various dance styles since the age of 3. The teachers are highly experienced and qualified. My girls have made some wonderful friends through dance and I find Harlow to be a very nurturing environment - no ultra competitive dancers (or dance mums!), just high quality, affordable tuition. Both girls dance in the performance troupes which support many local community events. I would recommend giving Harlow a go!

Appalled by the customer service of this business. I have tried for 1 week to contact them in regards to dance lessons for my 4 year old daughter, never answered phone, or returned my calls. Decided to just go into the school to have a look. Was told that there are no trial lessons and no opportunity to even have a look before you enroll in the school, what cost $25,- !!

I told the staff that I did not want to enroll straight away as I didn't know if this particular class was suitable for my daughter they replied "Well you just have to try". That';s an expensive try for $25,- I replied. "Well lots of people do it" they said. Well maybe they do, but I didn't and walked out.
