Harry Hartog
I was surprised to find a little sanctuary grown up outside Harry Hartog's Bookshop - the leather armchairs and lounge room carpet give a feeling that you're home reading from your own bookshelves. The fact than you can browse and read for free in no way decreases the number of sales they must be getting either. I've picked up books I'd normally never consider buying, only to become engrossed after a few pages and to come out of the place with several more books than I'd intended to buy. I was disappointed when Dymmocks went away - but to be frank I think Hartogs is better :D
After the demise of Borders and Dymocks bookstores from Westfield Bondi Junction, the need for a bookstore at this centre is pretty certain, so the arrival of Harry Hartog is great news for everybody who likes to shop for some readings.
The shop is relatively small and doesn't really stock too much of a variety, judging by the few number of aisles of books. However, what the shop lacks in books it makes up in other areas.
