It has been a while since my last review of this restaurant, but all I can think about when hear about this place is its interesting layout. The shop is a series of small areas of different levels and connected by stairs, making the place feel a little small but at the same time quite intimate. The decor tries to present a dark, low-light ambience with spot lightings to make it feel modern but I think it fell short by an inch.
They still have an extensive food offerings (sushi, sashimi, ramen noodles, as well as the obligatory boxset dishes). We were served complimentary spring rolls for an entree. For starter, we ordered mushroom balls (which were basically fried mushroom) with cheese and spicy sauce. It was quite an interesting dish and the sauce was quite delicious. We also ordered chicken karaage with two sauces, and this too was quite satisfying.
All thumbs up for this nice little restaurant! Set on a simple decor, this restaurant offers a wide range of japanese culinary offerings you can think of, from sushi, sashimi, salad, udon, teriyaki and katsu dishes, up to desserts including black sesame and green tea ice cream. The flavour is just right and the servings are quite generous considering the price. And most of all, the service is very friendly and attentive.
This one humble place is now definitely in my list of favourite places to dine!
