Harvey Norman Flooring

The carpet itself is great as are the subcontraactors they use: professional, friendly and good. The Harvey Norman sales staff in the flooring dept though? Awful! Arrogant, rude and unprofessional. He was sarcastic, gave us the wrong information and refused to accept he might not have told us and was quite rude about it (what happened to customer is always right?). He phoned to get immediate payment that we didn't know about, threatened us with no carpet if we didn't do it asap and then was rude when we asked him to email us the paperwork so we could pay as we were at work so couldn't use ours. Then when we mentioned his attitude he was even ruder! Harvey Norman you need to look at your customer service and the attitude of the sales staff. It's just not acceptable.

Worst customer service specially the furniture section. Been waiting for 9 weeks,I rang them 4 times, and they all keep repeating the same line like a parrot. "Will ring you back tomorrow" But then out going phone call are so expensive!!!! They should be looking into investing some money into training the staff in common courtesy. My last buy from this store. U can decide for yourself.

The most rude management i have ever spoken to. Firstly I had to call them 3 times, clearly doesn\'t believe in returning customer phone calls. Then they believes a customer should chase the manufacturer for any problems as their store doesn\'t have to worry about it. How convenient! I will never purchase from this store based on the attitude of this staff member. If a company as large as Harvey Norman employees such arrogant staff who say when asked if they feel this is an appropriate way to treat a customer..\'depends on how you look at it\' - there is no way apart from listening and empathising with a customer and then putting yourself in that customers position....customer service 101...

Bought a camera last week, really helpful staff that could help with all my questions as I really didn't know what to look for.

They promised delivery of my items 4 different dates but they did not come. When they finally delivered only half my items and I wouldn't pay the full balance (because I didn't have all the items), and they told their delivery staff per mobile phone to wait outside my house (holding up their other deliveries). They were very rude and never apologised for keeping me waiting weeks. I had to fight and stand up in order to finally get all my items delivered. It was a nightmare ordeal. It was all about sales, but no follow up service. I'll never go into their store again.
