Possibly the worst place I have shopped based on customer service.
Danny the salesperson actually had the audacity to stand there and tell me that I didn’t ask him a question when I did. Regardless of whether he’s right or wrong probably the number one rule in sales is not to call your customer a liar. Disgusting service,.
No wonder the reviews for this place are no good anywhere on the net.
I would never buy from them again and will go out of my way to tell people not to go to this store ever again!
WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE!! We have been in this store about 5 times, of those 5 times we have never been approached by a staff member for assistance! We have always had to find them in store. The general mentality of the staff members is a lack of care for their jobs. The latest staff member, Roy, was extremely aloof and uncaring towards our purchase. He said he would contact us last week to let us know when our fridge would be in, we received no such call. We called 2 times and both times were told Roy would call us back- again we heard nothing from him. It wasnt until we told a staff member on the 3rd call from us (yes we had to do all the chasing) that we wanted to cancel that Roy finally called us and informed us that our fridge would be another 2 weeks! 3 weeks LATER than informed it would take when we bought it initially. Terrible service, waste my time. Salesmen do not know their products. Wanted a new TV with a VGA port, asked their salesman who informed me that TV's no longer had VGA ports and I would have to seperately buy a HDMI-VGA converter ($60); so I did, get the TV home and guess what there is a VGA port!! So I wanted a refund for the accessory, head back there and it was not an easy process to get a refund, to the point I had to get the manager involved. Further to that, because it was not a multi-thousand dollar TV, the saleman was very disiniterested in my patronage at the point of sale. No wonder people are fleeing stores and going online instead, when quality service is just not there why bother going to a shop. HARVEY - stop whinging about online stores, you only have yourself to blame!!!!
I have had problems with 2 computers bought at Harvey Norman Oxley ......this is the second one, I had been out of the country for 2 months so by the time I got it back to them it was a month out of Warantee. I had Product care so it was sent off to them saying i would be 3 weeks. I have rung in this time and had no success in finding out how it was going. I eventually rang Product care on the 10th Oct and found it had not been received..... I then spoke to the manager who assured me it would go immediately . Product Care called and said it had been repaired on the 11th or 12th. It is now the 17th and when I called Oxley I was given a different story. I have since spoken to the Manager who was very helpful. This is now over 4 weeks I have been without my computer. My earlier calls were ignored plus I was promised return calls back twice when they were busy and never heard from them.
