Henderson's Sewing Machines

Hendersons have been servicing my much loved 50 year old Bernina for many years. When I moved to live on the south side of Brisbane I thought it made sense to try someone closer to where I was living. I soon learned that it was worth the time and travel to return to Hendersons. Everyone there is friendly, courteous and efficient. This week I left my sewing machine and overlocker for a service on Monday. On Tuesday I was called with info on what needed attention and a quote. On Wednesday I was called to advise that my machines would be ready for collection on Friday morning. Thanks to the technician for his professional expertise and to Joy for helping me select the best needles for my next major sewing project. Angela (January 2017)

My old, much used baby Elna is at Henderson's being serviced. I have received excelllent customer care.... both in my initial phone call to them and when I took my machine in to them. Good to come to people who specialise in this and value sewing machines. Thank you. Anna Ritchie

November 2016 I took my brother sewing machine in to be repaired and serviced. . I was rung up prior to repair with what the concern was and the cost. The service was done in 24 hours, with a year warranty thank you Derrly it is working like a dream.

Last Saturday 30th July 2016, I took my 1973 ELNA SP Sewing Machine to Henderson's Sewing Centre Chermside to be repaired and serviced.
(It had been left in a shocking state from a repairer of commercial sewing machines). When I first took it into Hendersons, Derryl the owner, commented that their technician was highly skilled in his job and my machine would run better than new. Also there was TWELVE MONTHS GUARANTEE ON WORKMANSHIP AT THE SHOP.
True to his word, when I collected my machine today, it was running beautifully, so quiet and smooth. I was very happy to be without my Elna for only a few days. This is the first time I have used this company but I would highly recommend trusting any repairs your machine might need to them. They know what they are doing and have over 30 years experience in this field.

Definitely a store to NOT use. More than one instance of being rude to me, lack of after sales service to the extent I was forced to go to another supplier even though the product was still under warranty - these things apply here. The words I learnt at School - "Caveat Emptor" absolutely apply to this store and its owner. I wish other customers who had had bad examples of service had posted their reviews before I paid out a large sum of money. Please have second thoughts about buying anything from Hendersons Sewing Machines
