Hidden Valley Auto Centre

Ive been dealing with Aaron at hidden valley auto for a few years now and service gets better everytime i go. 2011 i had a truck with 7"lift that needed to be reduced for rego. No one would touch it, they all gave the "its too hard or cost a zillion dollars" speel. Until i found these guys. Theyre always going out of their way to please, always giving good honest feed back and always doing what they say theyre going to do, which is hard to find in darwin. Recently i took my truck to a local dealer for a wheel alignment, besides the fact that it took 6hrs, the guy tried to steal my karcher pressure washer from the truck, broke my $250 gme uhf antenna left loose bolts in my steering column then said he couldnt wheel align it. I travel around Australia and quite a lot to the top end of Australia like Darwin and have done for several years and when I am in Darwin in need or repairs or servicing I have never come across a more helpful and Professional mechanical shop than Hidden Valley Auto Centre they have always informed me immediately of any further repairs needed and quoted accordingly they have offered to pick me up and show me or to take photo's of the extra repair and every time I checked they were correct the extra repair was needed. I have also recommended this repair shop to many fellow travelers who have used them also and upon bumping into them again at different places etc I asked how they got on and every one of them has nothing but praise for this place their professional approach to look after you and your vehicle is Excellent, prices were fair, service was great, staff are clean and courteous every one I spoke to said they would recommend then to other ...read more

Have been dealing with these guys for last month or so and never once have I felt like I had no idea about cars. Very informative and honest up front people. and finally a mechanic I feel like I can trust. Will continue to use these guys with ANY problems I may have in the future.

My work was a very simple left brake adjustment that turned in to over 4 hours and in the end it was far worse than it started.
They made up all sorts of excuses saying the cable is worn, which it was not as the other brake was perfectly working, then they said the self-adjuster was seized which is a simple plate onto another that would take minutes to maintain with CNC, now this was over 4 hours later and when I thought they had finished as I was waiting only yards away the whole time 3 mechanics and the staff looking at it puzzled.
They then said its the best they can do and was 95% working which I thought OK.
When I went to the testing station it did not show up at all on the brake computer machine so I jacked it up and placed the hand brake on and pushed the ...read more
