Hello! My name is Hilary. I am available to tutor Maths and Physics up to HSC level (including up to extension 2).

I have a first class Masters degree in Physics from the University of Cambridge, and worked in software development in London and Sydney.

I am currently studying for a PhD in Medical Physics at the University of Sydney.

Tutoring will be tailored to the individual's need, but may include revision of subject areas for HSC, homework help, exam technique or working through particular areas of difficulty. I want to build your confidence in your own ability and give you the tools to succeed.

Tutoring offered in my home studio in North Willoughby. Group rates, phone and Skype rates can also be negotiated.

Experience:
I have tutored undergraduates in physics at Sydney University. I have an excellent knowledge and love of maths and physics, and an awareness of teaching and learning styles. Many years of individual training and personal development for my team members carried out in the work environment have taught me to tailor my approach to different personality styles. I am also the mother of two young children.

MSci (Physics) First Class from University of Cambridge, UK
In 3rd year of PhD in Medical Physics at University of Sydney

Rate: $80 per hour individual lesson.
