We recently went here to get some trousers altered. Mine were black work trousers and I asked them to be taken in to remove the flare in the leg and also taken up to shorten. The quality of the work is excellent and just what I asked for. The invisible stitching on the hems is the best I have ever seen. We paid about $50 for both and I think that it was very good value for money.

I took my wedding dress here to be taken in (after seeing the amazing reviews here), my dress was very simple, sleek with a teardrop cut-out at the front. I needed the dress taken in (which they did) but they didnt consider the cut out. After many tries of taking the sides out and trying cups, inserts etc. The cut out is a gaping hole! you can see into my dress. No apology. No compensation. Not happy. 6 weeks to go, out of pocket.

Staff was helpful with alterations, and tried hard to fix it, but in the end, poor quality work.

I had purchased a dress for a special occasion which required some alterations.

Not knowing anyone who sews I used Trulocal and saw HILTON HEMZ had 4 excellent reviews... 4 excellent reviews because they deserve them!



I can't recommend Jeanette, Toni and the team at HILTON HEMZ highly enough. I was impressed from my inital phone call to their business, through to receiving an alterated dress which looked stunning.



Jeanette was extremely helpful and offered excellent adivise. They were quick to make the alterations and they called me in for 2 fittings. Their workmanship is brilliant and I am so happy with the final result. Their rates are also reasonable.



I will definitely use them again and recommend them highly to anyone requiring alterations to garments.

Girls at the hemz shop were excellent. Had leather jacket remodeled and they did a brilliant job. Great service and very friendly staff. Definitely will use again.
