Can't comment on the store, however online selection seems to be good but a lot of items have very little information or pictures. Have tried to order items before and each time they were found to be out of stock. Mistakes happen but they need to improve their systems to ensure their inventory it regularly checked to ensure the items they advertise are actually in store, especially during sales when whole orders are cancelled due to inventory mistakes. A lot of better places to buy from these days, despite being one of the longest running, it seems to have fallen behind since a change in owernship.
What a joke this place is - they clearly do not know the meaning of truth or customer service - or maybe it is just laziness or incompetence.....
I was looking for something very specific for a Christmas present and google advised that I should be able to get it here, so I make the effort to go online and find they do have it (showing 5 in stock). To get it delivered would cost $10 (for a $8 item). I am only about 2-3 kms from their QVB store so I take the time and effort to find the QVB store number, call them and ask if they have any in and was advise that "sure do". Wow! What a fabulous store. Spanning over several floor, loads of staff on hand to assist you who are friendly and knowledgeable. Everything you could possible want for any hobbyist or enthusiast. Great range of collectors’ items. Awesome place to get inspired to start a hobby or even to buy a gift.
