Hog's Breath Cafe

Always a pleasure eating at any Hogs Breath fast food chain. Stopped by here on the way home from a road trip and couldn’t of been more happy. Fast, friendly service - tick. Yummy American style food - tick. Large servings - tick!! Not the healthiest of foods, but we didn’t care, we just wanted something enjoyable in a fun diner. Steaks here are a must, slow cooked and comes in 3 different sizes with plenty of sauces to choose from. I always get the loaded potato skins to start with.

Its been awhile since ive been back to this Hog's Breathe at Watergardens Shopping Centre. On this particular day we werent too sure what to have for dinner and along this strip we thought it Hog's Breathe would be easiest and for my son to have some curly fries to make things a bit more interesting for him. We were quite early for dinner so at about 5:30pm there was not many people coming to dine yet so it felt very spacious and empty. So havig the full attention of the waiter was good when you have a hungry boy to feed. I ordered a standard steak and my husband ordered a sandwich menu. Our meals came out pretty quick and my son was entertained by the curly fries. Nothing special about the menu at Hog's Breathe but it was good to dine once in a while. Especially not during peak time.

Like TGIF, Hog's Breath has the same feel and atmosphere of an American Diner. Menu has a great selection to pick from with the famous curly fries as a must have every time i'm here. The first ever Hog's Breath i went to was in Chadstone and at the time there was none in the western suburbs. But quite glad they have expanded and close to home for me. This Hog's Breath in particular is not busy before 7pm but picks up quite quickly. Staff are friendly and always welcoming. I don't always order a main. Sometimes just peckish I'll order the skin potatoes or curly fries. Or sometimes their garlic bread or bruschetta. And even that fills me up when they are just starters or side dishes. I really like and enjoy the garlic bread as its slighty crunchy around the outside but a soft buttery fluffy feeling in the centre full of flavour which makes it a pleasant feeling. Always happy to come back as i always walk away happy knowing Hog's Breath Watergardens do a good job.

I decided to try hogs breath cafe located in watergardens at first everything was fine the staff were kind and bubbly and the atmosphere was great, then I noticed a management arguing with another staff member in front of other customers as well as myself and my family the staff member that was involved looked like was about to cry and I noticed that after that incident the body language changed and staff face was saddened.I will not be coming back to hogs breath watergardens after that incident

We went to Hogsbreath cafe on a recommendation from a friend. I loved the funky decor. We had an excellent, friendly waiter who was very accommodating. The steaks were cooked perfectly and the sides were delicious. No room for dessert, but will try next time as I'll definitely go back
