Hogs Breath have recently revamped their menu and there are some interesting new options on there. However the food quality is usually a bit average, and not that cheap if you are coming as a family. They can push the customer service side of things a little hard as well.
not a massive fan. i do love hogs breath but i do find there way of serving etc intense. they sit at your table. The food is always good and the drinks but it is also quite expensive unless you have a voucher. I probably wouldnt recommend to come here if you have a family. If you do go at lunch though the pricing is much better.
Good but not great. Very good option for families - some nights have kids eat free so this can make a much cheaper meal. Steaks are not really cheaper than other similar options, although if you want something local it is not bad. Maybe better options in this price range!
I have to admit I found the encounter pretty underwhelming. This seems definitely geared towards a family restaurant (there are deals for days when kids eat free, etc) rather than standing out for its high food quality. The portions were well sized, but the entree had soggy and greasy potato skins, and the steaks weren't really much better than what we could get at a local pub for half the price. We were fairly disappointed overall. Nothing was downright terrible, but for the cost there are a lot better options IMO.
