I rented from this company and though they were good to start, getting my bond back was a huge problem. The unit I rented was absolutely covered in dust, from an AC install, and I had Penguin Cleaners clean it spick and span at the end. It has been over a month now, and Homestead has provided no information or forms on bond release, and has hit me up for a water bill they never provided me an opportunity to pay, so knocked it out of the bond (a mark against future applications), so now my bond will be held up even longer. I am going to complain to REIWA and the regulatory bodies about these irregularities and hopefully they can contend with them.
I was hoping that their reputation might extend into us poor underclass renters, but apparently, renters don't rate in this part of the world...
I recently used Homestead Realty, namely Sean Possner and Nick Sworder to sell my property in Como. The service that they offer and the professionalism is second to none. Sean worked tirelessly in a very short period of time and within 3 hours of my first home open I had 3 fantastic offers on the table.
