Horseback Vineyard Tours

I would just like to thank the team at Horseback Winery Tours on the Mornington Peninsula. Myself and my girl friend went on the ride, relax and stay package. The whole experience from start to finish was fantastic. We started out on the 3 hour winery tour which was so much fun. The staff on the ride were friendly and courteous. The horses were in very good condition and were a joy to ride. Both myself and my girlfriend have ridden even though there were customers of different abilities on the ride, the staff ran the ride so that everyone enjoyed it immensely. By the way the scenery and vineyards are spectactular! Our stay at the B&B farmstay was relaxing and very comfortable .Bev and Terry Scott's hospitality is second to none. Our weekend was finished off with one the most amazing massages we have had. She uses all natural oils, we left feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. My best friend and I went for a ride here last weekend and were so disappointed. It was incredibly over priced compared to other places we have ridden, and the people were very rude. One staff member made an inappropriate comment about my chest as well!!

We were questioned about how much experience we had has for 10 minutes, only to get on the ride (with 4 other people who were also very experienced riders), and do nothing more than trot. We were told off when my friend and I trotted for 5 meters more than we should have. If you were a beginner it might have been ok, but for experienced riders, don't bother. I may have been happy to pay twice what we have paid elsewhere if the people hadn't been snarky, rude and condenscending, but as it was we left feeling ripped off and unappreciated as customers. .
