We are home to one of Australia's most prominent art galleries presenting a diverse range of work from Australia's best and up and coming artists. We are proud to offer a range of stage shows, ranging from musicals to stand up comedy, in addition we also have a cinema playing all the latest release movies. Cafe Arts is a popular place to stop for a bite, and our Lobby shop offers the most unique, entertaining and exquisite gifts on the Gold Coast. We have function space available for hire, not to mention props, sets, and costumes from our old productions.
Contemporary and historical works are showcased in one of Australia’s most prominent regional galleries. It's a pity that the Gold Coast only has one Arts Centre but this one has stood the test of time. It has live shows, cinemas, an art gallery, comedy club and function rooms so covers the works. It hosts everything from school graduations and eistedfods to operas and theatre performances. The pricing for the cinemas is a lot lower than the local BCC or Event and it hosts more arthouse films. The art on display is free to wander through and is worth a look if you're dropping by. There's a fair bit of parking, but it can get busy, especially with the council chambers next door.
