Came here on the weekend to watch a movie but prior to the movie had dinner at the burger place just around the corner and we couldn’t finish all the chips so we got it take away. The man would not let us into the cinemas unless we binned the fries or consume them as we were not allowed to bring them in. Fair enough I understand that, even though after promising we wouldn’t be eating them inside (how would he know but I really do keep my promises), so we ended up binning them – such a waste. If I knew I had parked the car closer I would have ran them back to the car but I knew there would be no time to do that as the car was parked quite far and the movie was about to start- oh well. Hats off to the staff worker who sticks to the rules.
Hoyt's Norwood Branch is in a great location on The Parade. Good local surroundings and they also have a coffee club you can purchase from to bring into your cinema. The cinema's themselves are clean and the chairs are not tattered like some other cinema's I have been to.
I wish I could say more about this theatre ... We don't go here often, & are always disappointed by the staffs mannerism. they seem rude and like they don't really want to be there.
We drive a long way to get to this cinema, because we had a voucher gift card from interstate relies.
I can't believe after almost a year they are still doing renovations to the building....
