In my latest attempt to due in-person banking at HSBC in the city during lunch break, I was faced with a long queue something that I quite expected but did not really expect it to be that long.
They have installed a numbering system like in motor registry so you would need to pick a number.
It took me almost half an hour wait before my number was called. Sadly, there is no restroom available in the branch, which is quite inconvenient considering the long queues people are dealing with.
There was also a staff who manages the queue. They were quite friendly and I would have been very satisfied if they were a little more prompt.
Fortunately, the teller who served me was very prompt and they attended my requests in a quick manner. Taking cultural differences into a factor, I would also say that they were friendly in a different kind of way.
