Escape to the heart of the Hunter Valley Wine Country, just a two hour easy drive north of Sydney and stay at the Hunter Resort. Family owned and operated, the resort is nestled within 40 year old vineyards and includes the Hunter Wine Theatre, Hunter Valley Wine School, Wine Tasting Cellars and Winery, Bluetongue Brewery Cafe, San Martino Restaurant and Wine Bar and the Heavenly Hunter Massage Centre.All guest rooms feature timber cathedral ceilings, queen-size beds and the rooms open out onto the vineyard with views over the surrounding Brokenback Ranges. There are also suites that include double spa bath and a kitchenette.Onsite facilities include a fleet of mountain bikes, a large swimming pool with separate children's wading pool, heated spa, walking and jogging tracks.

We have been running a Road Trip to the Hunter Valley with our dancers for the last few years and have always been pleasantly serviced at Hunter Resort where the Hermitage Cellars and Blue Tongue Brewery is located. If you are ever planning a group tour definitely make this your stop and ask that Nathan is your host for your wine tasting experience and tour - he is awesome. Great value, the food will hit the spot whether you are stopping for lunch or quick refill or just to pick whilst wine/beer tasting, professional services, easy to deal with during planning and they always respond to emails/phone calls. The property itself is beautiful, making for some great photo opportunities and this place will have you always coming back because there is quite a bit to always do.
