Above the busy throng of cafes and restaurants running along The Esplanade, Hurricanes enjoys sweeping views of the world-famous Surfers Paradise beach. Residing on level 1 of the iconic and luxurious Soul Tower development, our fully licensed 300 seater restaurant and bar, is open from noon till midnight seven days a week.

Serving our famous flame-grilled pork, lamb and beef ribs, grass and grain fed beef steaks and BBQ chicken basted in Hurricaneâ??s secret recipe sauces. Hurricaneâ??s Surfers Paradise main menu also offers Angus beef burgers, fresh seafood platters and a variety of vegetarian dishes. Our starters include speciality salads (beef, lamb, chicken and octopus), oysters, mussels, prawns, vegetable soup, garlic mushrooms, breads and spicy wedges. We also have tempting desserts made by our very own pastry chef (unique to Surfers Paradise only), quality wines, spirits and cocktails.

Hurricanes is conveniently close to public transport, street metered parking and secure parking at Soul. With two entrances at opposite ends of the restaurant, customers can take the escalator from the promenade to the main foyer. Or walk up the stairwell with its featured wall of lit green bottles en masse between large steel columns.

Inside the fit-out is raw and industrial with black steel columns, concrete pavers and exposed surfaces. The main dining area across the front of the restaurant has a mix of tables and chairs, interspersed with large upholstered banquettes. Standard lamps between the back-to-back seats, add some height to the vast expanse of the restaurant and its premium views.
