I love ikea. Richmond one is the only one closest to me and every time i am at ikea i end up buying heaps of goods for my home. My last visit, i was there to purchase a shelf and ended up getting good quality cushions for $2 each and christmas wrapping paper for under $1. I love walking through the path and looking at each section how things are displayed and set out. The only part i dont like is having to line up to pay. With all the counters open even with self serve, the line is always long. And i love their cheap decent eatery, hotdogs for $1, cant go wrong as it is enough to get you through the whole ikea before you get hungry again.
It been a very long time since I was here last, probably when they had their opening. I find that it’s so large that I often get lost in one of these large stores. We came here purposely looking for shower suction mats for children as they had a number of great ones listed in their catalogues. Of course as expected, couldn’t find them anywhere and ended up in different areas of the stores until I found someone to provide assistance. The store is great though, presentation is fantastic. I really enjoy their food court mid-way. There are tables and chairs, but also couches and arm chairs to rest. The parent room is nice and comfortable although only one available although there is a separate change room for the babies. What I did like was the coffee and soft drink options in which you just pay once and can refill as many times as needed. It was the proper machine not the watered down instant coffee either. The checkout experience was great, self-service but someone readily ...read more
This review is for the restaurant inside IKEA. The restaurant itself is pleasantly designed, welcoming, well thought of arrangements with recycling bins, kids' play area, a place to return the dirty plates, glasses and cutleries. Service was not very good. We had the meatball with mash, they ran out of mash at the time and it was straight away replaced by chips without telling/asking first. The seats and tables are very dirty.
Bought some furnishes a few days ago and spent a lot (for me) of money there! In IKEA was, not good but OK, because I ask like 3 people for some orientation and all of them said that it wasnt their area so they couldnt help me. But the worst thing was the delivery, wish I advise everybody who want to buy stuff in IKEA to use your car or rent one, because at least youll know that the furnishes will get safe to your house! I waited like 7 hours for them, and when they came e saw the back of the truck and everything was a completely mess, a pure chaos of boxes and they literately walk on them to reach something, and my boxes were all mess up! The delivery staffs were working since 5 am and ask me for water! And you have to blame IKEA for choosing bad delivery companies.
