Round 1:
my iPhone to have the battery replaced. Job done with absolutely no improvement to the battery life. I wonder if they did anything?
Round 2:
Broken iPhone screen so taken there to be replaced. Job done. Constant problems from there on so took it back. It was fixed - or maybe not? The same problems continued - turning off by itself - aps opening by themselves - the list goes on.
Conclusion:
I didn’t bother taking it back, I will simply never go there again or recommend them to anyone.
We first dealt with ilab Marion Road around 8 weeks ago. My daughters iphone 6s was water damaged. $370 later it was fixed no problem and we were given a 3 month warranty, sent away with a smile and told not to hesitate to bring it back if there are any issues. A week later we returned as unfortunately a friend dropped my daughters phone at school. $250 was spent and the screen was fixed and we were sent on our way with another warranty a smile and told not to hesitate to bring it back if there are any issues. Not even 2 days later the phone started glitching, apps opened without being touched and light was seeping from the top of the screen. My daughter is only 15 years old and was just happy to have her phone back. A few days later she woke one morning to find that the screen had began to crack (under the glass protector that was recommended and sold to us by ilab) from the home button. Melanie, I had the same experience with customer service. It was very humiliating, even though I was not in the wrong. I hope these reviews prompt iLab to do something about the people who work in this store.
AWFUL!!! I too am a victim of this terrible service. My iPhone came back from repair and touch screen did not respond to touch. When i contacted them, they REFUSED to fix it, instead saying I'd have to pay full price for another 'repair'. An absolute joke!!! The guy even said on the phone "we have plenty of business lady, people break their phones all the time" - a disgusting attitude to running a business.
