I live on in South Brisbane fibre optic area, where all ISPs have steeper pricing, quotas and restrictions thanks to some... complicated politics with Telstra. So while I can't gush about the pricing, I understand it's largely out of Internode's hands, and were still ideal next to other ISPs' offerings in the area.
The high score remains because of their support, which I'd been hearing great things about for years, and absolutely deserves its reputation. Every phone call has been incredibly helpful. No outsourcing; no going around in circles. After a... trying time with Optus call centre bureaucracy, this alone made me feel very welcome as a new customer.
Internode would have to be one of the best value for money ISPs in Australia. Unfortunately as their ADSL still relies on Telstra's network, if you have any problems that need to be escallated, it can take a while to get resolved. Internode's support staff know their stuff and are always keen to help resolve any issues.
