Man I had to check to see if I was in right caravan park.

Well I am shocked at comments that have been said.
I've been here in Ipswich park for a while now.
Yes sue Mark still managers.
I think it's okay to have an opinion of course
but they are people and have a heart.

I have found them to b people of integrity helpful so kind. Beautiful family people.
They treat me with respect.
I can only go by my experience .
I love it here.
Don't go by hear say.
Go by your own experience.

Booked a powered site at the Ipswich Caravan Village months before our stay. On trying to contact them to pay our deposit 2 months prior to our stay I was unable to get through to anyone on their landline contact that is listed on their own website. I tried multiple time over 3 days without being able to talk to anyone. Finally I found a mobile number which I called and spoke with management, a lady Susan. She was so rude to me when I was speaking with her over the phone not even caring that I had been trying to call them. She couldn't even withdraw the correct amount of money from my provided credit card! When arriving to check in no one was in site and the office was locked up like Fort Knox! Never again. Where do I begin.... Reception is only open 3 hours a day. The cabin was old and a single room (the bunks were at the foot of the main bed even though it was a 'family cabin'). There was no soap in the bathroom and the exhaust fan didn't work. The bunks had no bedding (we had to fit our own).

Most concerning was that the smoke alarm had no battery (so it didn't work), and had been modified to make it fit in the bracket with the battery removed. I reported this to the manager by phone and text message, asking for a battery to be brought up. No battery came, my messages were not returned. This is not only dangerous, but also illegal.

On the upside, the caretaker was a friendly bloke (although apparently un-contactable), the park and cabin were clean and tidy.

I booked months in advance for a group of 18 (15 students and 3 teachers) to stay at the village for a Human Powered Vehicle race at Willowbank. I received confirmation and paid deposit on time. Upon arriving at 5pm with a bus full of tired kids, the rude lady tells me that she has cancelled our booking as she never received the remittance slip from the deposit. I asked why she hadn't contacted me directly before canceling a school booking! She showed me who she had phoned- someone from another school?!? Then the night before left a message at 6pm on the admin staffs phone line asking for someone to contact ipswich caravan village. Never did she ask for me direct or email direct back to me.

She was not apologetic and showed no empathy whatsoever for our kids!

I had to phone around and find other accommodation and the closest was Toowoomba. Never will I return, nor encourage anyone to stay there!!
