Our Westmead Fertility Clinic is a new, purpose-built facility designed with your comfort, privacy and convenience in mind. Open Monday to Friday from 7am to 5pm, and 8am to midday on both Saturday and Sunday, you can meet with your fertility specialist, undergo monitoring and have all procedures conducted in one convenient location.

As a patient at our Westmead Clinic, you will have any day surgery procedures just two buildings away at the City West Day Surgery on Mons Road.

IVFAustralia's in-house embryology laboratory has been built to European clean air standards, which go well beyond Australian IVF lab requirements. Sophisticated environmental control technology ensures the pure air circulating through the laboratory is separate from the air in the rest of the site, providing near-perfect conditions for the handling of sperm, eggs, and embryos.

This clinic also boasts a state of the art andrology laboratory, which carries out the most sophisticated sperm testing and analysis of any laboratory in Australia. This was the first clinic in the country to undertake Digital High Magnification sperm assessment, which is particularly helpful in delivering success and pregnancy for couples where sperm quality and quantity is very poor.

Clinical Director Associate Professor Peter Illingworth is also IVFAustralia's Medical Director, and together he, Dr Andrew Kan, Dr Thilee Sivananthan and Dr Nalini Gayer consult from our Westmead Clinic. If you are a patient of Dr Wafa Samen or Dr Robert Lahoud, you can also have monitoring at this clinic.

Dr Robert Lahoud hosts a monthly PCOS clinic at IVFAustralia Westmead. The clinic is open to women of all ages who would like information pertaining to the diagnosis, assessment and management of Polycystic Ovary Syndrome, as well as coping with its various symptoms.
