I was WARNED not to use this company. DO NOT USE THEM.
I am an easy going client to any business, who always refers great bus deals.
I ordered a 6 metre bin for $600, I ended up with a 4.5 due to something wrong with there 6m bin, I had no choice as time wasnt on my side. They would send a 2 m bin after the first one was full. The problem is though its costing me an extra $300 for the excavation pile still left on my property that would have fiited in the 6m bin.
The owner Gavin had this explaned to him.
I asked Gavin for a 3 m bin instead of the 2, ( extra stuff I wanted to throw out) his answer was no but Gavin did offer a .5 m bin at no cost. His answer was that he wasnt going to loose money even though it was there fault at first.
On top of this i left messages, texts etc, to plz pick the loaded bin up, which was due to be picked up a day earlier.
Its still in my driveway.

Very disappointed. I was out when the bin was picked up and came home to rubbish all over my front yard. No note. No phone call. Just a bunch of rubbish. What a disgrace
I am rather disappointed with their services as of recently. I ordered a bin on Saturday morning for Tuesday and it was delivered just fine and at a suitable hour, however a piece was missing from the side of their bin so if it were to be filled to the brim things would fall out one side, I do believe it was rather unprofessional to hire out a bin with a piece missing from the top side. I informed them at 11:30am on Tuesday that the bin was ready for collection. I understand that they were running behind due to the public holiday Monday but the bin was picked up at 1:30pm on the Thursday with an apparent problem. There were are few pieces of concrete garden edge which were not heavy, the rest was cardboard and other things similar and most importantly the bin was NOT FULL. We have ordered around 8 bins from them in the past 2 years and they have been much FULLER and HEAVIER and we have NEVER had any issues. Our last bin especially would have ...read more
After complaining to Jim Bins about this matter I am very pleased and surprised at how they handled my complaint. I emailed them, as I was feeling to angry to call and didn't want to inadvertently yell at the staff who takes the calls. They promptly phoned me back and told me that had weighed the bin and it was in fact not overweight so they would refund me the $45 extra that they had charged me and offered me a 2.5 cubic metre bin for free next time I need a skip. True to their promise on the phone a very polite man, I am thinking may have been the management, showed up on my doorstep refunding me the extra money and reminding me that I get a free skip next time!
They were very sorry that I was charged this amount in the first place and made the situation right.
Jim Bins let me down but seem to have redeemed themselves by professional management and attention to a customer complaint.
