John Flynn Private Hospital
The hospital and staff are excellent , food nursing all good.
My complaint is about the pathology department,
It is antiquate , at the end of corridor stacked with old equipment.
The room that I had my ultra sound in looked like a storeroom shelving stacked with medical packages.
Then I had to have a procedure done on my artery ,dealing with a bleed after angiography it took 2 days to get that done.
The whole atmosphere of the rooms is to casual ,and I would think unhighgenic
My take on this facility is that it needs an urgent upgrade.
I have just been discharged 2nd December 2016
How can a private hospital have such revolting food? My mum has been in John Flynn for a week now and there are bits and pieces on the floor that have not been swept up. The toilet seat is wiped over and then everything else wiped off with the same cloth without washing. If I'm sick I think I'll opt for the public hospital thanks.
When you are not well I can't think of a better place to recuperate. The wards are spacious and easy to navigate with private rooms and comfortability for visitors to visit without being clock watched. The reception is like a resort entrance and the gardens manicured and lovely. Plenty of onsite parking both free and paid, but be warned if you do choose the lower carparks you will have a walk up the hill to the lift entrance so best to drop any older or unwell patients off before parking.
