I recently had a disappointing experience at this place. After my 2016 Isuzu MUX's battery went flat overnight, I was told that the issue was due to leaving the car unlocked, claiming it increased the parasitic draw enough to drain the battery. However, after testing it myself with a multimeter, the draw was only 15mA, which is a minimal consumption and not nearly enough to flatten a healthy battery overnight. This information is also more applicable to newer vehicles, and even then, it would take a few days, not hours, to drain a good battery.
Beyond the inaccurate information, I found their customer service lacking—there was little willingness to discuss or investigate other possible causes. This battery is still under warranty, and I expected a more thorough and honest diagnosis. I don't recommend them.
Buyer beware - this company is rude, does not care about quality of product or customer service, clearly does not seek customer loyalty only values sale profits and pressure to continue services there under threat of losing warranty. My MG was purchased NEW less than a year from JMF broke down failed clutch. I had bought a car new specifically for reliability and warranty as I need car for work. I was in tears. JMF could not care less clutch broke down - said they were "too busy to look at it for another week" and no interest or concern that I would lose two weeks income without car. I asked for courtesy car. Said " Not available. All booked out two weeks". No apology or concern. I said I understood they were busy but this was not scheduled service but breakdown of new car shouldn't be happening they have duty of care to customers to leave some vacancy to respond to warranty matters. Attendant told me clutch not covered by warranty as it is 'wear and ...read more
Would not recommend them for their poor and abysmal customer service. I have had few rough treatments from them in the past with numerous complaints to their customer service team but the last episode was what really made me walk away from them and I will never go back. This is my story.
Car servicing is overpriced as I learned recently. I took my Stavic for routine service late 2016 and was charged $750 and then told to come back in a few weeks to have two front brake pad replaced for $970 (two brake pad to cost $650 and labour $220). When I complained, I was told that is the best price and I would not get it cheaper elsewhere. I protested and went to Ssangyong directly given the car odometer was less than 60k (note that I bought the car new in 2013). I also noticed two days after the service that there was oil leak which I later learned was due to negligence from prior service. I ended up taking the car to another ...read more
John McGrath Ford Phillip refuse to fix air bag errors in my territory saying "parts wear out". The fault in my not yet 4 year old territory means that the drivers side air bag won't deploy in an accident but apparently that isn't a safety issue and they refuse to cover the cost of repairs even though the Australian Consumer Law applies. Do not buy a car from these people as warranties aren't worth the paper they are written on.
The worst coatuner service ever. They booked me for a service at 9 15 am and by 11 15 didn't touch my car . A service book required a change of diff oil and they didn't even have the oil in the stock. It is a basic think I guess. I will never come back. One star would be too much
