I've bought two bikes from jcc and have nothing but good things to say about my experience. They have helped me out no end on my cycling journey and guided me honestly through my clueless purchases and newby issues. . It was a quirk of fate that I found a shop that is interested in you as a rider, not only a customer. I wouldnt go anywhere else and heartily recommend them.
I recently purchase a Cervelo S3 from the guy's at Joondalup Cycle City (JCC). My experience from initial enquiry to 12 months post purchase has been nothing short of outstanding both from a JCC and manufacturer perspective.
Both have provided great aftersales service and stood behind their product. It's inevtiable that things some times go wrong, but a true measure of a business is how well they deal with these situations. From what I felt was a relatively minor issue, the guy's at JCC and Cervelo arranged a brand new frame with out prompting. This was totally unexpected.
These guy's are genuine and I have recommended many a friend and colleague to JCC
These people have no concept of customer service. I just purchased a bike with a $3,500 RRP and once the deposit was paid that was it. They did not contact me to tell me the bike was ready, I had to call them repeatedly. When I picked it up, no offer to put my old pedals on it, no offer to set it up for me, not even a offer to help me get it in the boot of my car - Total Fail!
Hi Jeff Just want to give our side of the story. We called you on the Friday when the bike came in, then again on Saturday to let you know it was ready, the phone just rang and we could not leave a message. You spoke to one of the guys about fitting tyres and when he told you there might be a labour charge (which is a standard charge) he realised you where not happy. He then asked me and I told him it is ok we are happy to fit the tyres for free, pedals we always fit for free. You declined and said you would fit them yourself. We generally have a quick check that the seat height is good, with customers that have existing bikes and already have their setup, we do the setup if asked to, otherwise we leave that up to them to do. Sorry if you had a bad experience, we will try our best to improve our service. Gerrit
Gerrit, If you valued your customers and wanted to improve your service, why don’t you talk to them? If you wanted to understand why I think you guys are hopeless you could just pick you the phone and ask me what the problem is. Have you asked yourself why I did not accept the revised offer to fit the tyres?
