JR Duty Free

Wrong name since 2019 this has been know as Lotte Duty Free

With our recent overseas trip we decided to browse around at various duty free shops rather than end up making purchases only at Melbourne Airport. Ive walked passed this store on so many occasions but just havent had any particular reason to pop in until only recently. JR store was much larger than I thought, stocking lots of brands and products, fragrance, skincare, handbags, watches, electronics, wine, liquor etc. The entire staff was Asian, which Im only assuming that this is likely to be catering for the tourist coming from countries such as China, Japan, Korea. When comparing the prices I didnt find anything as such that was appealing or of significant discount. In fact, if you know your product I find in some items it seems to be even cheaper to purchase from other stores when there is a sale. Didnt end up purchasing anything on this occasion more or less due to their prices. In saying that the location is conveniently located to do other shoppings nearby.
