Just Screw It

This company has a minimum 8 hour call out fee. If your job is a small one, then this is not the company for you. If you ask for an estimate, read the Terms of Business carefully!

Avoid at all costs. They clearly have a standard approach - under quote and then keep adding on more and more. They added more costs even after I complained saying literally "they lost some invoices". The final cost was 30% higher than the top end of their original quote. The key tradie they hired spent more time talking than working. And they left the job with damage done to our property. In fact, a painter came back upset to remove the paint stains he left on our front porch and then damaged the porch with the chemical he used to remove the paint. Things got to the point where we told "Just Screw It" to forget about fixing up the remaining damage and faults. Just stay away. I highly recommend you do the same.

Shocking. We had a few small jobs ( putting up a tiny ledge, a couple of numbers out the front etc), any decent tradie would be able to knock over in an hour or less. This mob have a minimum 8 hour callout fee. That’s right, you get up off the floor and I”llrepeat tha5 slowly for you, A MINIMUM 8 HOUR CALLOUT ! Unbelievable.

Firstly was unaware that the estimate was only that and when signing the contract (with no time to look through) didn’t realise it was for do and charge. I realised soon enough as soon as the invoices started coming. Apart from initial contact where I thought everything seemed professional, I never felt like the client spending a lot of money. I felt that I was stuck with them. There were delays as they don’t seem to have many trades on the books. The trades they do have on the books charge exhorborent fees with no reason why and you are stuck as you need them to complete the job. The final result was very poor and I had to have people come and fix the carpenters shocking work. I would not recommend them at all. Do your homework.

Just had our second job in two years finished by Just Screw It and once again very pleased with the work done. End result is fantastic and has definitely added value to our home. Chad, Rhys, Brad and the team did an outstanding job of transforming our back garden with a brand new alfresco dining space, pergola and landscapes garden. Job finished to a high standard, on budget and the entire team were a pleasure to work with being very professional and courteous throughout the job. I would highly recommend them.
