Had a sheet of glass replaced today 25/9/17 after my mower put a rock through it I called on the Sunday the day before and was quoted for the job I gave the measurements of 950 by 2 meters the man on the phone said I can’t come out today as I have been drinking but the quote would be $380.00 so I said no probs go ahead with the job first thing Monday so I left my son home to assist with access and payment half way through the job the man said to my son that the price would now be $460.00 this was not agreed on and at no time was I consulted re the price change , as I was given the quote this should be all the price I pay , it is not my fault that the quote was given by a person who was under the influence of alcohol the quote should stand and if the person who did the job reads this I really would love the difference deposited back into my bank instead of taking advantage of someone who is just left to let you in to do the job at this stage I would absolutely ...read more
